Cancelled: EDAC “Year 2” Economic Development Training in NL

NOTE: This event has already taken place.

Please note that this training has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation. However, those wishing to acquire their certificate can participation in an online delivery of the courses from June 1-5. Please click here for more information on that opportunity.

EDANL, in partnership with EDAC and the University of Waterloo, is bringing the Year 2 – Advancing Economic Development Opportunities course to St. John’s June 15-19, 2020. The completion of this training (in combination with Year 1) will earn you a Certificate in Economic Development.

For any who are interested in this training but haven’t taken the Year 1 training, you will still be welcome to take Year 2.

Canada-NL Job Grant
Those working for a private sector employer, not-for-profit organization, industry association, employer consortia, union, an Indigenous government or organization, or are incorporated or a sole proprietor, may be eligible for the Canada-NL Job Grant. 66% of your costs associated with taking this training can be covered through this great program. Municipal Training Financial Assistance Fund
The Municipal Training Financial Assistance Fund (MTF) provides an annual reimbursement of up to $1,000 per municipality for professional development opportunities, and if you work for a municipality you may be eligible for this fund. For more information on the MTF, click here.
