NEWS RELEASE: EDANL Launches Conference with Enhanced Learning & Networking Opportunities for Economic Development Practitioners

(St. John’s, NL) – The Economic Developers Association of Newfoundland & Labrador (EDANL) is proud to launch the opening of registrations for its 2018 Annual Conference & AGM. The event will take place from June 14 – 15, 2018 at the Mount Peyton Hotel in Grand Falls – Windsor. EDANL is delighted to announce that MDB Insight are the title sponsor for the conference.

EDANL President, Ross Houlihan, highlights the board’s efforts, “we have been working hard to create an agenda that both interests and excites our economic development practitioners and I believe that we have achieved that. I look forward to connecting with members old and new. I encourage as many as practitioners as possible to register and join us in Grand Falls – Windsor this coming June. We are truly grateful for such a prestigious and respected firm like MDB Insight, to partner with us as title sponsor”.

MDB Insight Executive Vice-President, Paul Blais, sees his firm’s sponsorship as a good fit, pointing out that “we share not only an excitement about connecting communities with opportunities, but also a belief in personal and professional growth that keeps all our edges sharp”. Sessions at the conference include opportunities management, business retention and expansion, regional innovation systems and technology to support the work of economic developers. The first annual EDANL Economic Development Awards will also be taking place at the Annual Conference & AGM.
