The Department of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development is inviting the public and key partners, including municipalities, Indigenous governments and organizations, businesses, community organizations, industry stakeholders, and local leaders, to help shape Newfoundland and Labrador’s rural revitalization strategy.
The Provincial Government is committed to taking a region-by-region approach to support sustainable economic growth and stronger rural communities. Through this engagement process, participants can share feedback on:
Interested participants can share their feedback by completing the online questionnaire through EngageNL, registering for an in-person or virtual consultation session taking place throughout the province, or providing written submissions by email or mail.

Feedback received through this engagement process will help shape the development of a rural revitalization strategy that reflects the unique needs, strengths, and opportunities of communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The feedback will also help identify priorities and actions to support stronger regional economies, vibrant communities, and long-term prosperity. A summary of the feedback will be shared following the engagement process.
